鉾持町の町代を呼んで相渡し、町中へ触れ出すよう申し渡した。

伊兵衛
右の者どもについて、春中に町内で入札出入の件があり、他出を差し留めておいたところ、他行して商売をし、やむを得ず出かけた場合はその方面へ伺いを出して指図を受けるべきであったのに、そのような手続きを行わず、その上遠国まで出かけて日数も大変多くなり、重々不届きの至りである。この上は厳しく吟味した上でなければ身分を保つことは困難である。特に友右衛門については古い役職の件もあり、一通りに処置することは困難であるが、町内一件も解決し、格別に糺すほどの沙汰には及ばないということで、両人ともに押込を申し付ける。必ず慎むべきである。
右の趣旨を申し渡すべきである。以上

Regarding these individuals: During spring, there was a matter of bidding disputes within the town district, and while their departure from town was restricted, they engaged in business elsewhere. When it became unavoidable for them to travel, they should have submitted proper inquiries to the authorities for instructions, but they failed to follow such procedures. Furthermore, they traveled to distant provinces and were away for an excessive number of days, which constitutes a grave breach of duty. Under these circumstances, it would be difficult for them to maintain their social standing without undergoing strict examination. Particularly regarding Tomouemon, who holds an old office position, it would be difficult to handle his case in an ordinary manner. However, since the town district matter has been resolved and there is no need for special investigation, both individuals are sentenced to house confinement (oshikomi). They must conduct themselves with utmost discretion.
