一 御役所ゟ御書付左之通り
此度中山道下諏訪東坂南
宿困窮ニ付人馬賃銭

割増左之通可請取旨申渡

去ル未七月ゟ当子六月迄
中五ヶ年之間人馬賃銭 下諏訪宿
都合四割増申付置
候之処猶又当子七月ゟ 赤坂宿
来ル巳六月迄中五ヶ年間
是迄之通四割五増
右割増銭申渡間可被得

一 役所より書付が左の通り
この度中山道下諏訪東坂南
宿が困窮しているため人馬賃銭を

割増して左の通り受け取るべき旨申し渡された
中山道
去る未年七月より当子年六月まで
中五ヶ年の間、人馬賃銭について 下諏訪宿
都合四割増を申し付けて置いた
ところ、なお又当子年七月より 赤坂宿
来る巳年六月まで中五ヶ年間
これまでの通り四割五増とする
右の割増銭について申し渡されたので
その旨を承知されたい

幕府より書付が出されましたので町中へ
触れ知らせるべきである。以上

右の書付が出されましたので行司横町の町代
勝右衛門へ渡し、町中へ回覧させました

This time, due to the financial difficulties of Shimo-Suwa
Higashizaka-minami-juku on the Nakasendo road,
charges for horses and porters

From the 7th month of the previous Year of the Sheep until the 6th month of the current Year of the Rat,
for a period of five years, regarding charges for horses and porters Shimo-Suwa-juku
a total increase of 40% was ordered
However, furthermore, from the 7th month of the current Year of the Rat Akasaka-juku
until the 6th month of the coming Year of the Snake, for five years,
as before, a 45% increase
Regarding the aforementioned additional charges,
this has been ordered, so please
take note of this matter

a notice has been issued from the shogunate, so it shall be
announced throughout the town. The above

The aforementioned notice having been issued, it was given to
town representative Katsuemon of Gyoji-yokocho and circulated throughout the town
