嘆申立候品も有之決而

親類組合預ヶ申付候
条預り一札可差出候
尤満光寺建福寺
蓮華寺御慈悲被
申立候次第厚相心得
諸事急度慎可

右之趣各立合可被申

現代語訳
【右丁】
罪があって取り調べ中で牢に
入れられているが、その
職業柄長期間家内の者達が
【左丁】
困窮し、餓死しそうな
状態で見るに忍びないため、
親類達が当惑している旨を
寺院に申し出たが、取り調べ中の
件については慈悲を願い出ることは
難しいとのこと。しかし妻子達が今日
をも凌ぎかねている状況につき、三ヶ寺が
嘆願申し立てをした件もあり、決して
手抜かりの筋ではないが、家内の
生活の維持について、あれこれ格別の配慮をもって
親類・組合で預かり申し付ける
条件として、預かり一札を差し出すこと。
なお満光寺・建福寺・
蓮華寺が慈悲を
申し立てた次第をよく心得て、
諸事厳重に慎んで
過ごすこと。
右の趣旨について各自立ち会いの上申し
渡すこと

There are charges and during the investigation [the accused] are imprisoned,
but due to the nature of their occupation, their household members have been for a long time

suffering hardship and are on the verge of
starvation, a situation unbearable to witness.
Therefore, relatives have petitioned
the temples expressing their distress, but regarding matters
under investigation, it is difficult to
make appeals for mercy. However, since the wives and children cannot
even survive today, and there have been
petitions submitted by three temples,
this is certainly not a matter of negligence. Regarding the
livelihood of the household members,
with special consideration for various matters,
relatives and community groups shall be appointed as guardians
on the condition that a written pledge of guardianship be submitted.
Furthermore, understanding well the circumstances under which
Manko-ji, Kenpuku-ji, and
Renge-ji temples have
appealed for mercy,
[they] must conduct themselves with strict prudence
in all matters.
Regarding the above, each person shall attend and
convey [this message].
