Article 16
For shrines, temples, village storehouses and the like, or burial grounds that are not included in the traditional taxable land assessment (takadaka) and have no designated landowner, the circumstances shall be recorded in the land survey maps (jibiki-ezu) and land survey registers (jibiki-cho).

For village communal properties such as small product sites (komonari-ba) and forests, these shall be distinguished by color coding in the land survey maps.

Cemetery land shall remain tax-free as before.

For wasteland that has owners among main rice fields, dry fields, etc., a deadline for restoration shall be set and submitted in the land survey register. Also, for land that has become wasteland under village management due to the ruin, retreat, or relocation of owners, this shall also [be recorded] in the land survey register
