一当村石切之儀悉詮儀仕候処今年書上之外
壱人茂無御座候旅先ニ而石切随分実躰正路ニ
相廻り候様ニ為致承知候若御帳面ニ除キ隠置候
段及御聞候ハゝ其元御注進被成由致承知其
上拙者共如何様御咎ニ被 仰付候共少茂御恨ミ
申間敷候為後日石切請負証文仍如件

差出申一札の事
一、当村の石切りの件について、詳しく検討いたしましたところ、今年提出した書類以外に一人も（石工は）おりません。旅先での石切り仕事については、十分に実直で正当な方法で行うよう心得ております。もし帳面から除いて隠している者がいるということをお聞きになった場合には、そちらへご報告いたします旨承知いたしております。その上で、私ども（村役人）がどのようなお咎めを仰せ付けられましても、少しも恨み申すことはございません。後日の証拠のため、石切り請負証文を差し出します。よって件のごとし。

Document of Submission
Regarding the matter of stonemasons from our village, we have thoroughly examined the situation and confirm that there are no stonemasons other than those recorded in this year's official registry. We understand that when conducting stonework while traveling, they must conduct themselves with complete honesty and through proper channels. We acknowledge that if you hear of anyone being omitted or concealed from the official records, we shall report this to you. Furthermore, whatever punishment we village officials may receive, we will harbor no resentment whatsoever. We submit this stonemason contractor's certificate for future reference. Therefore, as stated above.
