問（とは）ねばいはぬはなきに似（に）たりと人はいふからは心（こゝろ）の中（うち）
ひとへになしとはいふべからず
人（ひと）死（し）ぬるといなやきしうづみもし
のけてなくなるとおもへば又（また）もなく
ならずしてたましゐといふもの来世（らいせ）
とやらんへゆきあらおそろしやゑんま
わうが手にわたりなばしやばにてつくる
つみをくろがねのちやうにつけて置（おき）て
鬼（をに）に見（み）せてこれほどの罪人（ざいにん）なり
かしやくせよといふとき

思（おも）へばとは人（ひと）悪事（あくじ）を竊（ひそか）になしおふせてしすまし
たりと憶（おも）ふ邪念（じやねん）をいふ也 又（また）もなくならずしてたましゐと
いふもの来世（らいせ）へゆくとは第二念（だいにねん）を目（め）なし第一（だいいち）の臣下（しんか）正念（しやうねん）

心の中に何があるだろうか
抄
問わねば言わないのは無いのに似ていると人は言うけれども、心の中
がひとえに無しとは言うべきではない。
人が死ぬといって、焼いても埋めても、のけて
なくなると思えば、また無く
ならずして魂というものが来世
とやらへ行き、ああ恐ろしや閻魔
王の手に渡れば、娑婆にて作る
罪を鉄の帳に付けて置いて
鬼に見せて「これほどの罪人なり
処罰せよ」という時

思えばとは、人が悪事を密かになし遂げて死んで済ま
したと思う邪念をいうのである。また無くならずして魂と
いうものが来世へ行くとは、第二念を目なし第一の臣下正念
