手拭いの品々を合わせてくださる
今日の勤めには末摘花にも
参詣したいのですが、眉墨の
引く手になびく大幣の身
にさえございますので、心に任せず
型ばかりの戯れ事も朝鏡
ははっきりと様子を知ることでございます
掛葵
葵祭のこと、人々が葵を鬘に
掛け、また御簾に掛ける。この掛葵の
手拭いは喜々の人々が頭に
被り肩にも掛けるということです
