一 他国出石切旅稼ニ罷越候者共組切銘細
吟味仕人別諸人相立罷出申候尤御年貢
御役儀等無滞様ニ可仕候御事
従 御公儀被 仰付候御法度之義ハ
不及申常々被 仰付候御仕置於先々
相背申間敷候此段堅相守候様ニ被 仰付候
現代語訳
一札を差し上げ申し上げる件について
一、他国へ出稼ぎに行く石切職人たちの組合における銘細について、よく吟味して人数を調べ、皆で連名して届け出いたします。もちろん年貢や役務などは滞りなく行うようにいたします。
御公儀から仰せ付けられた法度については、申し上げるまでもなく、常々仰せ付けられている御処置について、今後とも背くことはございません。この点をしっかりと守るよう仰せ付けられました。

Regarding the matter of submitting this written pledge:
Item 1: Concerning the detailed records of stonemasons who travel to other provinces for seasonal work, we will carefully examine and count the number of people, and all will jointly submit their names. Naturally, we will ensure that annual tributes and official duties are fulfilled without delay.
As for the prohibitions issued by the Shogunate, it goes without saying that we shall never act contrary to the official ordinances that have been consistently decreed. We have been instructed to strictly observe these points.
