　　之儀ニも候へは此方振合
　　之処為知差遣候様
　　尤書状相認宿次ニ

現代語訳

一　御会所において両御奉行様が仰せ渡されたことには、松島宿へ両人の者を聞き合わせのために差し遣わし、何かの方の様子が分かったならば、早速役所へ申し聞かせるべき旨を仰せ渡された。

一　飯田・諏訪へは御近領のことでもあるので、こちらの振り合いの処を知らせるため差し遣わすように、もっとも書状を認めて宿次になりとも差し遣わすように御沙汰があった。

英語訳

Item: At the government office, both magistrates issued the following orders: Send two men to Matsushima post station to make inquiries, and if any information about the situation becomes known, immediately report it to the office.

Item: Regarding Iida and Suwa, since they are nearby domains, there were instructions to send [messengers] to inform them of our arrangements here. At the very least, written correspondence should be prepared and sent via post station relay.
