一、松嶋宿前日泊まりまで、丁代両人が御用伺候並びに聞き合わせ等を差し出すべきこと

一、卯の木辺りまで町役人代わり丁代両人が宿請等を差し出すべきこと

一、旅宿亭主二人が升形まで出迎えを致すべきこと

一、旅宿の件について、御勘定方一軒、御普請方横目役同宿一軒を心掛けるべきこと

　　　Memorandum

1. Up to the overnight stay the day before at Matsushima-juku, two village representatives (chōdai) shall attend to official duties and make inquiries.

2. Up to the vicinity of Unoki, two village representatives serving as substitutes for town officials shall handle lodging arrangements and related matters.

3. Two inn masters shall go out to meet [the officials] at the Masugata.

4. Regarding lodging arrangements, one inn shall be prepared for the Finance Office (go-kanjō-kata) officials, and one inn for the Construction Office (go-fushin-kata) inspector (yokome-yaku) to share.
