差上申一札之事
一 此度御林委細御改御吟味被成候所此頃剪取申候
新敷切蕪等御座候而逢御吟味何分申訳
無御座奉存候依之自今手錠打又は過銭
等ニ而も可被仰付候間村中急度詮義仕差出し
可申旨畏入奉存候其者露顕之上ハ何分ニも
被仰付候共少も御恨申上間敷候以上

差し上げ申す一札の事
一 この度御林を委細に御改め御吟味なされ候ところ、この頃刈り取り申し候新しき切り株等がございまして御吟味に遭い、何分申し訳がございません。存じ奉り候。これにより今後手錠打ちまたは過料等にても仰せ付けられるべく候間、村中で急度詮議仕り差し出し申すべき旨、畏れ入って存じ奉り候。その者が露見の上は、何分にも仰せ付けられ候とも、少しも御恨み申し上げ間敷く候。以上

Article: When the government forest was thoroughly inspected and investigated this time, fresh-cut stumps that had been recently harvested were found, and we have no excuse whatsoever for this matter discovered during the investigation. Therefore, from now on, even if hand-cuffing or fines are to be imposed, we will strictly investigate within the village and present the offenders. We humbly accept this responsibility. Once such persons are exposed, whatever punishment may be decreed, we shall harbor no resentment whatsoever. The above stated.
