無御座候へ共寺内ニ少も紛無御座候若外ゟ寺林ニ而

現代語訳
ございませんが、寺内には少しも紛れはございません。もし外から寺林ではないという訴人がございましたら、何分の曲事にも仰せ付けられるでしょう。少しも偽りの義は申し上げません。その外、御林下通りに自分たちの内林がございます。これもまた名前と判を押して差し上げ申した通り、少しも相違はございません。もし相違のように御聞きになられましたら、誰の持分であろうと引き取り、何時であっても御林の分として御取り上げになられるでしょう。その時、少しも持主はもちろん申すまでもなく、村役人であっても一言も申し上げてはなりません。かえってその科は何分にも仰せ付けられるでしょう。後日のため、名主・組頭・内林持主が判を押した証文、よってくだんの如し。

although there is no such designation, there is absolutely no confusion within the temple grounds. If there should be any complainant from outside claiming that this is not temple forest land, whatever punishment will be imposed. We do not report anything false. Furthermore, regarding our private forests in the area below the lord's forest, as we have submitted with our names and seals, there is absolutely no discrepancy. If you should hear of any discrepancy, regardless of whose property it may be, it will be confiscated and taken up as part of the lord's forest at any time. At that time, not only the landowners but even village officials must not utter a single word of objection. On the contrary, punishment for such offense will be imposed accordingly. For future reference, this is a sworn document with the seals of the village head, group heads, and private forest owners, therefore as stated above.
