一 此度御林御廻り被成被仰付候趣一々其意奉存候然ル上ハ
御林弐ケ所弥念入御林薄キ所苗木等植随分能たち候
様ニ相守可申候此以後柴かりハ不及申木葉かり
ニ而も一切入申間敷候若入候ヲ見逃聞逃に
仕候由及御聞候ハヽ御詮義之上何分被仰付候とも
少も御恨申上間敷候尤御林之内薮木下
枝等ニ而も山守たりといふ共むさと無御断

差し上げ申す一札のこと
一 この度御林の御回りをなされ仰せ付けられました趣、一々その意を存じ奉ります。しかる上は、御林二か所、いよいよ念を入れ、御林の薄い所には苗木等を植え、十分によく立ちますように相守り申すべきです。この以後、柴刈りはもちろん申すまでもなく、木葉刈りであっても一切入り申してはなりません。もし入るのを見逃し聞き逃しにいたしました由が御聞きに及びましたら、御詮議の上何分仰せ付けられましても、少しも御恨み申し上げてはなりません。もっとも御林の内の藪木や下枝等であっても、山守であっても、みだりに御断り

Article 1: Regarding the instructions given for the inspection tour of the lord's forests this time, we understand and respect each point of your intentions. In accordance with this, we shall carefully protect the two locations of the lord's forests, planting saplings and such in thin areas of the forest so that they may grow well and flourish. Hereafter, not only brushwood cutting but even leaf gathering shall absolutely not be permitted. Should it come to your attention that we have overlooked or ignored such intrusions, whatever punishment may be imposed after investigation, we shall harbor no resentment whatsoever. Moreover, even regarding undergrowth and lower branches within the lord's forest, even forest guardians must not arbitrarily without permission
