の件について申し上げましたところ、その理由や証拠などもあるのかとお尋ねになられましたが、古来より何の証拠も理由もございません。そうであるならば、今後は御林の内に組み入れられるとのこと、ごもっともなことと存じ上げます。私どもの方に何の証拠等もございませんので、申し上げようがございません。後日のため、当村名主・組頭・長百姓の証文、よって件の如し。

When we reported this matter, you inquired whether we had any reasons or evidence for this claim, but we have no evidence or justification dating back to ancient times. Under these circumstances, we humbly acknowledge that it is entirely reasonable for this land to be incorporated into the lord's forest from now on. Since we have no evidence whatsoever on our side, there is nothing we can argue. For future reference, this certificate document from the village headman, group leaders, and senior peasants of our village, therefore as stated above.
