一　当村川東おたい久保と申御林南ハ畑切羽ゟ
　　東ハ芝山通り北ハおね道通り松木立之内ハ
　　御林其より又雑木立之内横道下よりと
　　おね通り南ハ松雑木共ニ南日向之方沢共
　　畑切羽迄御林ニ少茂紛無御座候然ニ御案内
　　始申南之畑切羽より東芝山山境迄三分
　　通り畑くろ付之由伸申上候一共何之証拠も
　　無御座候ヘハ御不審之通御尤ニ奉存候然上ハ
　　畑切羽ゟおね通迄御林と思召之段少も
　　申分無御座候扨又源五右衛門持分之内横道より
　　下ハ御林道上おね通迄ハ内林之由申上候
　　所ニ少も相違無御座候若相違之義申上候も
　　後日ニ及御聞ニ被成候ハヽ被 仰上御詮儀之上
　　何分之曲事ニも可被仰付候為後日名主

指し上げ申す証文の事

一、当村川東のおたい久保と申す御林について、南は畑の切羽より、東は芝山通り、北はおね道通りで、松木立の内は御林であり、その他雑木立の内、横道下よりおね通り、南は松・雑木ともに南日向の方、沢とも畑切羽まで御林に少しも紛れはございません。然るに御案内を始め申し上げた南の畑切羽より東芝山山境まで三分通り畑畔付きの由を申し上げましたが、一切何の証拠もございませんので、御不審の通り御尤もに存じ奉ります。然る上は畑切羽よりおね通まで御林とお思し召しの段、少しも申し分ございません。さて又源五右衛門持分の内、横道より下は御林、道上おね通までは内林の由申し上げた所に少しも相違ございません。もし相違の義を申し上げた者も後日に及び御聞きに成られましたならば、仰せ上げられ御詮議の上、何分の曲事にも仰せ付けられるべく候。後日のため名主・組頭・長百姓・山守・持主判形の証文、よって件の如し。

Item: Regarding the lord's forest called Otai Kubo on the east side of the river in our village, the boundaries are as follows: to the south from the edge of the fields, to the east along the Shibayama road, to the north along the Onedō road, with the area within the pine groves being the lord's forest, and from there within the mixed woodland, from below the crossroad to the One road, to the south both pine and mixed trees toward the south-facing slope, including valleys, up to the field edges - all is the lord's forest without any confusion. However, regarding what we initially reported about the three-section passage with field boundaries from the southern field edge to the eastern Shibayama mountain border, we have no evidence whatsoever for this claim, so your suspicions are entirely justified. Therefore, we have no objection to considering the area from the field edge to the One road as the lord's forest. Furthermore, regarding Gengorōemon's holdings, from below the crossroad is the lord's forest, and from the road up to the One road is private forest - there is no discrepancy in what we reported. If anyone who made contradictory statements is later brought to your attention, upon your investigation and inquiry, they should be subject to whatever punishment you deem appropriate. This testimony document bears the seals of the village headman, group leaders, senior farmers, mountain guards, and landowners for future reference. Therefore, as stated above.
