一 前々ゟ被仰付候御林御高札之趣ハ不及申上
此度御廻り御改御吟味之上被仰聞候趣一々
承知御尤ニ奉存候然上ハ御林之義山守共
不及申名主組頭共ニ随分念入大切ニ相守可申候

一 当村の御林六ヶ所（天神林・大林・山神林・やと林・北林・大入）残らずご案内申した所に相違ございません。もし相違のご案内をした由をお聞きになりましたならば、何様にでも仰せ付けください。
一 前々から仰せ付けられた御林の御高札の趣旨は申すに及ばず、この度お廻りでお改め・ご吟味の上で仰せ聞かされた趣旨を一々承知し、ごもっともに存じ奉ります。然る上は、御林の義について、山守共は申すに及ばず、名主・組頭共も随分念を入れて大切に相守り申すべきです。

Item: Regarding the six protected forest areas in our village (Tenjin Forest, Ōbayashi, Yamanokami Forest, Yato Forest, Kita Forest, and Ōiri), we have guided [the inspectors] to all locations without omission, and there are no discrepancies. Should you hear that we provided guidance with discrepancies, please impose whatever punishment you see fit.
Item: Not to mention the content of the official notice boards for the protected forests that were posted in the past, we have understood each and every point of the instructions given after this inspection tour and examination, and we humbly consider them most reasonable. Therefore, regarding the matter of the protected forests, not only the mountain guardians but also the village headman and group leaders shall take great care and diligently protect them.
