武田信玄墓碑囲石垣建設の件についての伺書
私どもの代官所管内である甲州山梨郡岩窪村の長百姓市兵衛並びに村役人一同の件で、同村の地内にある武田信玄墓碑の囲石垣建設の件について願い出があり、担当者を派遣して現場を見分した上で調査したところ、同村芝問の内に法性院大僧正信玄の墓と記された墓碑が建てられていることが確認されました。
当該墓碑は高さ五尺六寸で、三重の台石の上に建てられています。

Inquiry Document Regarding the Construction of Stone Retaining Wall Around Takeda Shingen's Grave Monument
Regarding the case of village headman Ichibei and the village officials of Iwakubo Village in Yamanashi District, Kai Province, under my jurisdiction as deputy magistrate, a petition was submitted concerning the construction of a stone retaining wall around Takeda Shingen's grave monument within the village territory. After dispatching an official to inspect the site and conduct an investigation, it was confirmed that within the Shibadon area of the same village, there stands a grave monument inscribed "Tomb of Hōshō-in Dai-sōjō Shingen."
The aforementioned grave monument is 5 shaku 6 sun in height and is erected upon a three-tiered stone base.
