この一冊は文化十二年亥年四月十八日に郡代中において御用番より御受取し、役方へお渡しになったところ、何年頃からか分からない。然るところ物書部屋に二冊あるとのことで、郡代中へ申し達し取り調べの上、物書中より受け取った。

This one volume was received by the magistrate's office from the duty officer on the 18th day of the 4th month of Bunka 12, Year of the Boar, and transferred to the administrative office, though it is unclear from what year this originated. However, since there were reportedly two volumes in the document storage room, we reported this to the district magistrates, investigated, and received them from the document clerks.
