右の日程の通り、商人たちならびに茶売り・宿・川での殺生（漁猟）を行う者たちは、各々印形（印鑑）・■札ともに持参の上、四ツ時より八ツ時までの間に、七左衛門宅へ罷り越し、諸運上札の替えの手続きを行うよう仰せ付けくださいますよう、お願い申し上げます。以上。

In accordance with the above schedule, merchants, tea sellers, innkeepers, and those engaging in hunting and fishing along the rivers are each required to bring their personal seals (inkan) and ■ certificates, and to appear at Shichizaemon's residence between the Hour of the Rabbit (approximately 10 a.m.) and the Hour of the Sheep (approximately 2 p.m.), in order to carry out the renewal of their various commercial license tags (un'jō-fuda). We humbly request that this be officially sanctioned and ordered.

For those of格式 (kakushiki) rank and above ■■, a written notice was ■, and at the御書院 (o-shoin, the reception hall), Shōzaemon-dono conveyed official instructions to those of the御供番 (o-tomo-ban, escort guard duty) rank and above, in the presence of the assembled samurai retainers.
