右の趣旨を在郷に触れ渡す際、町方といえども同様の件につき、小前（小百姓）の末々まで漏れのないよう触れ渡すこと。以上

去る戌四月二十八日夜、上州勢多郡下大島村の百姓麻右衛門が、妻のこよ並びに幼い息子を連れて、同国より京都まで赴く道中、それぞれの関所を避けて山越えをした。右の麻右衛門の人相書は以下の通り。
一 年齢 当亥年四十五歳

一 上州勢多郡下大島村の百姓で、右の村で生まれた者。中背中肉、顔が長く色黒く、柔和な方。目が小さく鼻筋が通り、耳口ともに大きく、眉毛の濃い方。歯並びが不揃いだが言葉ははっきりしている方。髭並びに月代（さかやき）は薄く、髭の濃い方。
一 その時の衣類 茶色縦縞木綿の布子、間着は縦横茶縞木綿布子、下着は紬、藍色の広袖小袖、紋所は井桁、白上がり花色（薄い藍色）の琥珀帯を締めている。

One: A peasant from Shimo-Oshima Village in Seta District, Joshu Province, born in that village. Medium height and build, long face, dark complexion, gentle disposition. Small eyes with a straight nose bridge, large ears and mouth, thick eyebrows. Uneven teeth but speaks clearly. Beard and shaved pate are thin, but facial hair is thick.
One: Clothing at that time: brown vertical-striped cotton wadded garment, middle garment of vertical and horizontal brown-striped cotton, silk undergarment, indigo broad-sleeved kosode with well-frame crest, white-based light blue amber-colored obi.
