同役中へ見せ、高砂町枝場へ小口筋（こぐちすじ）に取り持ち進し（申すべし）。
御城下殿坂（とのさか）御救小屋（おすくいごや）のことをおめらし（お知らせ）する。当春中より、御領分にて至って困窮の者があるとはいえ、御扶助（ごふじょ）を成し下され度（たく）、かねて沙汰（さた）置き候通り、麦作（むぎさく）所揚（しょあがり）の時節相成り候間、来月朔日（さくじつ）限り、小屋引き払い、御救いの者をして帰村致させ申すべく候。

[This notice is to be] shown to fellow officials and forwarded through the proper channels (koguchi-suji) to the branch offices (edaba) of Takasago-chō.
Regarding the relief shelter (o-sukui-goya) at Tonosakawithin the castle town: notice is hereby given. Since the beginning of this spring, there have been persons in extremely dire circumstances throughout the domain; and although relief assistance has been provided, and as previously communicated, the season for the barley harvest has now arrived. Therefore, by the first day of next month (朔日, the 1st), the shelter is to be dismantled and closed, and those receiving relief are to be sent back to their home villages.
