現代語訳
当面の生活費（扶持・食費）の工面についての心がけがない者たちは、困窮することになるので、その親類あるいは組合、さらには村役人および世話役の者たちが話し合い、親切に手当（援助・支援）をして面倒を見るよう心得ておくこと。
以上の趣旨を町中へ触れ知らせるべきこと。

Those who lack the foresight to secure their immediate livelihood (provisions and food expenses) will face hardship. Therefore, their relatives, neighborhood associations (kumiai), village officials, and caretakers (sewayaku) should confer together and provide kind assistance and relief as needed.
The above instructions are to be communicated throughout the town.
