一、役人が急ぎの御用の際は、上下（かみしも）の着用の有無にかかわらず、夜中であっても通行して差し支えない。
一、鉄砲・武器等については、それぞれの品々について差紙（さしがみ／証明書）を持つ者は、証書を差し出した上で通行すること。
一、これまで印鑑・姓名の引き合わせにより通行してきた件については、今後もその通りに承り扱うこと。
右の通り、心得るべきこと。
右の通り、公儀よりお触れがなされたので、町中へ相触れるべきものなり。以上。
八月五日
右の通り、同役中へ見せた上で、新用（しんよう）本郷へ相渡した。

One: When officials are on urgent business, they may pass through at any hour of the night, regardless of whether they are wearing formal attire (kamishimo) or not.
One: Regarding firearms (teppō), weapons, and the like — those carrying such items who possess the relevant authorizing documents (sashigami) shall submit said documents and may then proceed.
One: Regarding the practice of verifying passage by matching seals and names (inshō hikiai), which has been followed up to this point — this procedure shall continue to be observed henceforth as before.
The foregoing shall be understood and adhered to accordingly.
As the above has been officially proclaimed by the authorities (kōgi), it shall be disseminated throughout the town. The above is hereby conveyed.

The foregoing was shown to fellow officials (dōyaku-chū), and then handed over to Shin'yō Hongō.
