右の趣旨を、御料・私領・寺社領を問わず、漏れなく触れ知らせるべきものである。
九月
右の通り、触れ知らせるべきである。
此度、廻漕御用達等が引き受けて、蒸気飛脚船を設け、当月中より大坂表へ就航させることとなった。よって、御用旅行の者はもちろん、諸家来・百姓・町人・婦女子に至るまで、右の飛脚船にて往来いたしたい者は、勝手次第、廻漕会所へ申し込む

This time, the authorized shipping agents (kaiso goyōtashi) have undertaken to establish a steam dispatch vessel (jōki hikyakusen), which shall commence service to Osaka from within this month. Therefore, anyone wishing to travel by said steam vessel — whether those traveling on official business, retainers of various houses, farmers, townspeople, or women and children — may do so at their own discretion by submitting an application to the Shipping Office (Kaiso Kaisho).
