相当の費用を差し出して乗船するようにすべきである。また、御用物はもちろん、諸家の荷物あるいは商売荷物なども、同所へ申し込み次第、相当の運賃をもって積み廻すはずである。なお、諸事につき廻漕会所詰合の御用達方へ直接交渉すべきである。
右の趣旨を、各所へ触れ知らせるべきである。
九月
右の通り、公儀よりお書付が出たので、町中へ触れ知らせるべきである。以上。
十月
右の通りお書付が六日の朝に出たので、同役中に見せるため、霜町へ渡した。

【Left folio】
Passengers shall pay the appropriate fare and board the vessel accordingly. Furthermore, not only official goods, but also goods belonging to various households or commercial cargo may likewise be submitted to the same office, whereupon they shall be transported by ship at the appropriate freight charge. For all matters, applicants should negotiate directly with the authorized agents (goyōtashi) stationed at the Shipping Office (Kaiso Kaisho).
The foregoing matters are to be duly circulated and announced to the relevant parties.
Ninth Month
As the above has been issued as an official notice (kakitsuke) from the shogunal authorities, it is to be circulated throughout the town. That is all.
Tenth Month
As the above official notice was issued on the morning of the sixth day, it was forwarded to Shimomachi so that fellow officials might inspect it.
