一、田畑を所持する者はもちろん、わずかの空き地があっても心がけて食物となり得る品を蒔き付け置くべきこと

一、吉凶事の節には雑費が少なくないと聞いているので、これもまた今から心がけて分限より省略し、すべて質素を専一に心がけるべきこと

右の趣旨を借家・裏店の末まで漏れないように触れ回し、その町その家限りで知らせ、倹約を用いること。町役人共がたびたび回り、心得のない者には得と申し聞かせ、この節より覚悟いたさなければ銘々困窮の心至り、極めて難渋にも至るであろうから予め触れ置く。この上にも夫食に相成る早々の者は心がけるべきこと。万一心得
