右の者ども、一昨年来、他所出散（他所への立ち退き・散居）の改めを申し付け置き候ところ、骨折って相勤め、一段のことに候。役所において賞美を申し渡すべきところ、時節柄のことにつき、格別のご用捨をもって、呼び出しに及ばず、町の会所において洩れなく申し聞かすべく候。
十二月二十五日
奥白（奥書・正式な書き付け）の例にて、両御奉行様、御出張し候。
松井周蔵様より仰せ渡され候。

Regarding the above-named individuals: since the year before last, they were ordered to conduct inspections of those dispersed or relocated to other areas (tashossan aratame), and they carried out this duty with great diligence, which is most commendable. Although it would be appropriate to formally convey commendations (shōbi) at the office, given the circumstances of the current times, as a special act of consideration (kakubetsu no yōsha), they need not be summoned; instead, notice is to be given without exception at the town's meeting hall (kaishō).
Twenty-fifth Day of the Twelfth Month
In accordance with the customary formal written notice (okushiro), both Honorable Magistrates (go-bugyō) made an official visit.

Those who received the ceremonial cup (o-sakazuki) while in the countryside are to receive their respective notifications at each location. For those who received formal acknowledgment (o-todoke), the notification was conveyed by the Honorable Monthly Duty Officer (tsukiban) Kawachi Kahei.
