右の通り、相触れられるべく候。
来る十二月七日より江戸開市のことは、かねてより相触れ候以上の様もこれあり候ところ、御都合もこれあり候につき、各国公使等へも読判（どくはん）の上、来る辰年三月九日まで延期に相成り居り候間、その旨、相触れ出されるべく候。
右の趣、御料・私領・御社領共に、漏れなき様、相触れられるべく候。

The above shall be conveyed accordingly.
Regarding the opening of Edo to trade (Edo kaishi) from the 7th day of the coming 12th month — although notice had already been given previously to that effect — as there are certain circumstances requiring consideration, and following deliberation and endorsement (dokuhan) with the envoys (ministers) of the respective foreign nations, the opening has been postponed until the 9th day of the 3rd month of the coming Year of the Dragon (Tatsu). This matter shall therefore be duly communicated and announced.
The above notice is to be conveyed, without exception, to all lands under direct shogunal domain, private domain, and shrine holdings alike.
