（前頁より続き）……思慮の足りない者に（そのような考えを）吹き込んで嘆願させることは、あってはならないことであり、（そのようなことをすれば）かえって当人よりも、家内・頭立ての者の罪がより重くなるものとします。右の趣旨を改めて触れ知らせるものですので、小前末々の者へは、町役人たちより漏れのないよう、十分に申し聞かせるべきものとします。この上は、心得違いのないようにいたすべきものとします。

(Continuing from the previous page) …To instill such ideas into persons of insufficient judgment and cause them to submit petitions is something that must never occur; indeed, should this happen, the heads of the household and leading members of the community shall bear an even heavier culpability than the petitioners themselves. As the foregoing is hereby once again formally proclaimed, the town officials (machiyakunin) are to ensure that it is thoroughly and without omission conveyed to all persons of the lower orders (shōzen-suematsu). Henceforth, all are to conduct themselves without any misunderstanding of these regulations.
Eleventh month
The foregoing is to be duly proclaimed throughout the entire town.
