町仕送（まちしおくり）
北源 理左衛門
右の者の儀、情（じょう）を出して相勤め、その上、先年寄も相勤め、呑み込み罷り在り候。あわせて、町年寄を申し付け候。町仕送はこれまでの通り心得、同役と腹蔵なく申し合わせ、諸事念を入れて相勤むべき者なり。
三月五日
内藤与兵衛様・川比嘉兵衛様御出で、ついでに御月番・川地様より仰せ渡され候。御代官・掃木腰（はきごし）御物置・井上より、その外、例の通り御出席。

Regarding the aforementioned person: he has served with sincere dedication, and furthermore has previously served as an assistant town elder [先年寄], having acquired thorough knowledge and understanding of the duties. In view of all this, he is hereby appointed as Town Elder [町年寄]. He is to carry out the duties of Town Supply/Liaison Officer [町仕送] as before, consult with his colleagues without reservation or concealment, and attend diligently to all matters.
Fifth day of the third month
Naitō Yobe'e and Kawahika Kanbe'e were in attendance, and on this occasion, the Monthly Duty Officer [御月番], Lord Kawachi, conveyed the order. The Magistrate's official [御代官], the Hakigoshi [掃木腰] storage officer, Inoue, and others attended as customary.
