申付候に付御宛行並之通

一池上吉兵衛町年寄見習
申付候ニ付役米五俵被下候事

役所え可罷出候例格之通
此方共逢可申其上役儀之
誓伺可申付候
但北原利左衛門義は以前誓伺
相済候に付不及沙汰候事
右之趣相心得可申通候

【左丁】
この度、北原理左衛門が町年寄を申し付けられ候につき、御宛行（おあてがい）は並の通り下され候こと。
一、池上吉兵衛、町年寄見習を申し付けられ候につき、役米五俵を下され候こと。
一、明後七日、麻上下（あさかみしも）着用の上、役所へ罷り出るべく候。例格の通り、此方共（こちらども）にて逢い申すべく、その上、役儀の誓伺（ちかいうかがい）を申し付け候べく候。
但し、北原利左衛門の義は、以前に誓伺が相済み候につき、沙汰に及ばず候こと。
右の趣、相心得申すべく通り候。

Regarding the appointment of Kitahara Risaemon as Town Elder [町年寄] on this occasion, his stipend [御宛行] shall be granted in accordance with the standard allotment.
Item: As Ikegami Kichibei has been appointed as Apprentice Town Elder [町年寄見習], he is hereby granted five bales of rice [役米五俵] as his official stipend.
Item: On the seventh day, two days hence, he is to appear at the office dressed in formal hemp ceremonial attire [麻上下]. Following established precedent, we shall meet with him here, after which the oath of office [誓伺] regarding his official duties shall be administered.
Note: As for Kitahara Risaemon, since his oath of office was already completed on a prior occasion, no further action is required in his case.
All parties are to take heed of the above and conduct themselves accordingly.
