【右丁】
先達て、岩倉殿は御本営より御謹慎・御入京を御差し留め御達しとなり候ところ、この度、糧食御取扱いの廉これあり候につき、御謹慎御免仰せ出され候。これにより、鳴物その外、平日の通り相心得べく候。
右の趣、町中へ相触れるべく候。以上。

被田下より遣わされ候につき、同役見せ、即刻、行用霜町丁代へ相渡し候。

Previously, it had been ordered and communicated that Lord Iwakura was to be placed under house arrest (gonkinshin) and prohibited from entering the capital (Kyoto), as directed by the Main Headquarters (Gohonei). However, on this occasion, in recognition of his meritorious conduct in managing provisions (ryōshoku), it has been declared that his house arrest is hereby lifted. Accordingly, all celebratory music and other activities are to be conducted as in normal times.
The contents of this notice are to be circulated throughout the town. That is all.
21st day of the 3rd month
As this was sent from Hida-shimo, it was shown to colleagues of the same office, and immediately handed over to the town representative (chōdai) of Kōyōshimochō.
