附記
本地（ほんじ）と称する仏像を社前に掛け、あるいは鰐口（わにぐち）・梵鐘（ぼんしょう）・仏具等の類を差し置いている分は、早々に取り除くべきこと。
右のとおり、仰せ出され候こと。
三月
右のとおり、朝廷より仰せ出され候間、心得のため、町中へ相触れ候べく候。以上。
四月
右の御触れ、四月七日に置き出し候につき、同役中の也行司（やぎょうじ）袋町へ相渡す。

Addendum:
Buddhist images venerated as *honji* (the "original ground" manifestations) that have been hung before shrine sanctuaries, as well as items such as *waniguchi* (metal ring gongs), *bonshō* (temple bells), Buddhist altar implements, and similar objects that have been placed \[at shrines\] are to be removed without delay.
The foregoing has been proclaimed by official order.
Third month \[of Keiō 2, 1866\]
As the foregoing has been proclaimed by the Imperial Court, this is to be circulated throughout the town for the people's information and guidance. That is all.
Fourth month \[of Keiō 2, 1866\]
As the above official notice was issued on the seventh day of the fourth month, it has been handed over to the *yagjōji* (coordinator) among the fellow officers, \[for delivery\] to Fukuro-machi.
