前日より受け取り、九月七日より
御鳴物の御免（解禁）をなされました。鳴物は昨日より
差し許され候。追って御覧いただけますよう、
先格（前例）のとおりとなりますところ、諸式高価の
折柄にもあり、下々（庶民）にとって難儀となりかねません。よって九月七日より
差し許されるべく候。
右の趣、去る四日に大坂表にて
仰せ出されました間、当地におきましても
御免の旨を相心得、各方面へ
相触れるべく候。
九月
右の通り、公儀より御書付が出ましたので、町中へ
相触れるべく候。以上。 十月《割書：十六日｜行（より）本町へ｜相渡し候》

Received from the previous day; from the 7th day of the 9th month,
the ban on music and entertainment (御鳴物) is hereby lifted. Musical performances have been permitted since yesterday.
This is to be noted for your reference.
In accordance with prior precedent (先格), and given that
the prices of all goods are currently high,
this would cause hardship for the common people (下々). Therefore, from the 7th day of the 9th month,
the ban is to be lifted.
The above matter was proclaimed in Osaka on the 4th day (of the month),
and accordingly, at this location as well,
the lifting of the ban is to be understood and communicated
to all relevant parties.
9th month
In accordance with the above, as the official notice (御書付) from the Bakufu has been issued, it is to be circulated throughout the town. That is all.
10th month 《Marginal note: On the 16th day, this was passed along from [the messenger's] route to Honmachi.》
