謹んで罷り越し候始末、不埒につき、替職を致し、橋并びに目付手伝左の触れ達し、且つ勤め申し付け候。
一、吉郎兵衛の儀、御法度の博奕、并びに度々手合い、その上米三郎より申し合わせ、多人数同道し、下大嶋村平八■■へ金子供従に罷り越し、■始末不埒につき、過怠動（科料）申し付け候。
一、七加十の儀、牢舎（獄中の）吉郎兵衛を頼み、不米（不正な米）の取次をいたし、不埒につき、押込め申し付け候。
一、勇治郎の儀、御法度の博奕宿をいたし、不埒につき、過怠動（科料）申し付け候。以上。

Regarding the circumstances of [the person who] humbly went [to the said place]: as this conduct was improper and unruly, [he] is to be removed from his post, and the duties of bridge [inspector] and inspector's assistant are hereby notified by the following notice, and he is additionally ordered to serve [in a reduced capacity].
Item: Regarding Kirobei — [he engaged in] gambling, which is forbidden by law, as well as repeated fighting; moreover, having conspired with Yonezaburō, he accompanied a large number of people and went to [the residence of] Heihachi [■■] of Shimo-Ōshima village, bringing money [as a bribe or for gambling purposes], and [committed further] ■ misconduct. As this conduct was wholly improper and unruly, he is hereby ordered to pay a penalty fine (過怠動).
Item: Regarding Shichikajū — [he acted as] an intermediary for illicit rice dealings on behalf of Kirobei, who was imprisoned [in the jail], and as this conduct was improper and unruly, he is hereby ordered to be placed under house confinement (押込め).
Item: Regarding Yūjirō — he provided lodging for gambling, which is forbidden by law, and as this conduct was wholly improper and unruly, he is hereby ordered to pay a penalty fine (過怠動). The above.
