不埒につき、過怠勤を申し付け候。
一、新蔵の儀、博奕の場に居合わせ、手合わせ致し、また手合わせ不埒につき、過料銭■■、過怠勤を申し付け候。
一、代銀吉左衛門の儀、博奕について、以前も前々より手合わせにつき、（その際）外口（他の処罰）を申し付け候上は、急度（きっと）身分を相慎み罷り在るべき処、猶また手合わせ、不埒につき、過料銭、並びに過怠勤を申し付け候。
一、丑太郎・藤七の儀、歩足（歩行役）を但し申し付け置き候所、博奕手合わせ、不埒につき、急度申し付くべき候格別の用捨をもって、歩兵（歩行役）を差し免じ、過怠を申し付け候。
一、伝七はじめ外八人の者の親類・組合の者共、御法度の博奕手合わせ候趣を存ぜざる義は有るまじき所、等閑に相心得、不埒につき、過料銭を申し付け候。
英語訳

...and is hereby ordered to perform penitential service (kaitō-kin) as punishment for said misconduct.
Item: Regarding Shinzō, having been present at the gambling venue and having participated therein, and such participation being a serious breach of conduct, he is hereby ordered to pay a fine (karyo-sen) [amount illegible], and to perform penitential service.
Item: Regarding Daiginkichizaemon, having been previously punished on prior occasions for participation in gambling, and having been ordered at that time to strictly conduct himself with due restraint befitting his station, yet having again participated in gambling—this being a serious breach of conduct—he is hereby ordered to pay a fine and to perform penitential service.
Item: Regarding Ushitarō and Tōshichi, having previously been assigned to the role of foot soldier (Kabuki-ashigaru), and having participated in gambling in serious breach of conduct—though strict punishment would ordinarily be imposed—as a special act of leniency, they are hereby relieved of their foot soldier duties and ordered to perform penitential service.
Item: Regarding the relatives and neighborhood association members of Denshichi and the other eight persons: as they could not have been unaware of the prohibited gambling taking place, yet treated the matter with negligence, they are hereby ordered to pay a fine for said misconduct.
