【左丁】
右の村（への）押込を申し付け置いた処、町方へ度々忍び出たこと、その上、以前も博奕の手合わせをし、さらにまた手合わせをしたことは不埒につき、過怠勤の上、過怠料銭を申し付ける。
一、喜六銭代の件については、博奕の手合わせをしたことは不埒につき、過怠勤を申し付ける。
一、又三郎の隣家の者どもの件については、博奕の宿（場所）となっていたことについて、（その事情を）知らなかったということはあるまいという観点より、（本来の罰の）以上に打ち上げた（加重した）ことは不束につき、過料銭を申し付ける。

[Continuing the case of Jingoemon:] Although he had been ordered to undergo confinement within the village, he repeatedly sneaked out into the town district; furthermore, as he had previously engaged in gambling and has now done so again, his conduct is improper; therefore, in addition to the disciplinary confinement already imposed, a monetary fine for misconduct is hereby levied upon him.
One: Regarding Kisaburō [lit. "Kisroku Zendai"] — as his participation in gambling was improper, disciplinary confinement is hereby imposed upon him.
One: Regarding the neighbors of Matasaburō — on the grounds that it is inconceivable that they were unaware that his residence was being used as a venue for gambling, [the penalty] has been raised beyond the standard [level]; as this [conduct] was thoughtless and negligent, a monetary fine is hereby imposed upon them.
