（おろそかに打ち連れていた）段は不束につき、過料銭を申し付ける。
右の通り裁許令し候。向後は身分をわきまえ相慎み、農業・家業を相勤むべく候。過怠勤を申し付けられた者どもは、その向後の差図の通り、正しく相勤むべく候。且つ、過料銭は三日の内に納めるべく候。
四月二十五日
右の通り御書付、出方宿をもって（取り次ぎ）、候。町内につき、霜町甚右衛門方へ相渡し、ならびに過料銭の義も御沙汰の申し付け置き候。草々（早々）相廻し候様申し付け候。二十六日。

[...as they had carelessly associated with the offenders,] this conduct being thoughtless and negligent, a monetary fine is hereby imposed upon them.
In accordance with the foregoing, judgment is hereby rendered. Henceforth, [the parties concerned] shall conduct themselves with proper awareness of their station and due circumspection, and shall diligently attend to their farming and household occupations. Those upon whom disciplinary service has been imposed shall faithfully carry out [their duties] in accordance with the instructions given to them hereafter. Furthermore, the monetary fines shall be paid within three days.
Twenty-fifth day of the fourth month
The written notice as stated above has been conveyed through the post-station lodging house. As this concerns the town district, [the document] has been delivered to the residence of Shimomachi Jinuemon, and instructions regarding the monetary fines have also been duly communicated. [They have been] ordered to circulate [this notice] promptly. Twenty-sixth day.
