一 非持山・御囲山の見廻りに出向くよう北原儀右衛門に申し付けた。別に
今日登山したところ、瀧ノ上で椹三本が伐採されていたとのこと。これについて
なお一層注意するよう村役人に申し付けた段、その外別紙の条々なしに届け置いた
一 小白木の駄数・置場の書類に相違があるため、黒河内善右衛門方に吟味を申し付けたところ

一 志賀羽右衛門その外登山の面々が西の見方分を済ませて帰った届けを承知した
馬場安右衛門については御薪の間知の件で残るようにとの段、これまた良蔵の届けを
申し聞いた
一 山方衆の良蔵並びに与惣治が出向き、面川見分の趣きを申し聞いた

勘左衛門が出向いたとのこと。五ヶ村総代の浦村名主が出向いた

We expressed gratitude for what was received today, conveyed our thanks to the duty officer, and paid our respects to the construction office.
1. The inspectors Shiga Haemon, Kobayashi Sugizaemon, Mizo Ryōzō, and Baba Yasemon returned home from Iri-no-tani today, and we acknowledged their mountain ascent reports.
1. We requested one candle, received it from the accounting office, and accepted it after inquiring about its use during the recent fire incident.
11th day
1. We instructed Kitahara Giemon to patrol the Himochi-yama and Okakoimi-yama (restricted mountain areas). Additionally, during today's mountain ascent, three sawara cypress trees were found to have been cut down at Taki-no-ue. Regarding this matter, we further instructed village officials to be more vigilant, and filed reports without separate written articles.
1. Due to discrepancies in the records of small timber quantities and storage locations, we ordered Kurokawa-uchi Zen'emon to conduct an investigation.

He reported that there were no discrepancies as stated in the written records, so we negotiated with the district magistrates regarding business at the town cargo brokers.
16th day
1. We acknowledged the report that Shiga Haemon and others who had ascended the mountain completed their western area inspection and returned. Regarding Baba Yasemon, Ryōzō also reported that he remained due to official firewood measurement duties.
1. Mountain officials Ryōzō and Yo-Sōji went out and reported on the Omokawa inspection as follows. Additionally, Kurokawa-uchi Zen'emon, mountain inspector Maruyama Kyūzaemon, and Hirase Kanzaemon attended. The headman of Ura village, representing the five villages, also attended.
From the foot of Tekake-dake to Sangatsu-ishi along the Omokawa Nishi-tani route, the forest stands are extremely good, but the disputed trees are all small timber.
