郡代中と談合があり、木の種類については、下の道具の分は栂・唐松・栗類で、
手摺の分は松でも構わないとのことであった。右の木道具は遠方では御入用がかさんで高くなるため、
なるべく遠所の御林で伐り出す計画を申し談じ、山方衆へも［ ］［ ］に及び、追々
心当たりの場所へ木の見立てのため差し出した。仮橋の分は全て松の計画である。
一 山方衆の下役が在所へ出向く際、人馬や村での賄いとも郷方への断りなく出向くことが
これまでの慣例であったが、今後は人馬はもちろん村での賄いとも、その
都度郷方の物書まで断りを入れて御届けするよう徹底する旨を岡村十兵衛殿が申し聞かせ、
すぐに一統に申し通すよう羽右衛門方へ沙汰し、下役へも申し渡した。
十日
一 杉左衛門・安右衛門が板山村から帰参した旨の届けを申し聞いた。昨晩夜に入ったため、
今朝届けを申し聞いた。もっとも村方役人の一札を取ったとのことで、杉左衛門が差し出し受け取った。

十三日
一 牧太方が病気見舞いの旨の案内を申してきたので、月番の頼み合いで
相勤めた。
一 平野屋義兵衛・治綿屋儀兵衛・小野沢村善左衛門・小白木・
増山・継山等が追々願いを御届けしてきたが、今後は確実に吟味の上で
相願いするよう。既に上山となり上納山の件についても、可能な限り吟味して伐取すべきである。
増山等が相願いしても早速承り届けることは困難である。これらの趣旨を元締
どもへ申し聞かせるよう、山方小林・杉左衛門へ沙汰した。
十四日
一 三講良蔵が払米六斗を差し出したい旨を書付で申し聞いてきたので、
認め置いて元締役所へ差し出した。

1. When subordinates of the mountain officials went to outlying areas, it had been customary for them to go without notifying the rural districts regarding horses, men, or village provisions. However, Okamura Jūbei announced that henceforth, not only for horses and men but also for village provisions, notification should be given to the rural district scribes each time and reported. This was immediately communicated to Uemon's group to inform everyone, and also announced to the subordinates.
10th day
1. It was reported that Sugi Zaemon and Yasuemon had returned from Itayama village. Since they arrived last night after dark, the report was made this morning. They obtained a written pledge from the village officials, which Sugi Zaemon submitted and we received.

1. Makita sent word about a sickness visit, so we served together through the monthly duty arrangement.
1. Hiranoya Gihei, Jiwataya Gihei, Onozawa village Zenzaemon, Kohaku, Masuyama, Tsuguyama and others have been submitting various petitions and reports, but henceforth they should petition only after thorough examination. Since these have already become upper mountains and regarding tribute mountains, they should be examined and harvested as thoroughly as possible. Even if Masuyama and others petition, it is difficult to approve them immediately. The mountain officials Kobayashi and Sugi Zaemon were instructed to communicate these points to the head supervisors.
14th day
1. Sankō Ryōzō submitted a written request to provide six to of rice payment, so this was acknowledged and submitted to the head supervisor's office.
