否之義相伺申度段候申聞候唯今は爰共挨拶難致□
并追而沙汰次第罷出候様被申渡置候様羽右衛門方へ及沙汰
御薪方日々罷出勘定致候段承置候
一此度御祈祷之大盤差御札被下候同役方え申通則
御札頂達差遣候并下役両人えも被下候右御札■方頭ニ而

現代語訳
【右丁】
一 飯嶋［？］が出向いてきた。先達てより次々と内願もあった黒川山の
可否について伺い申したい旨を申し聞かせた。今は挨拶も難しく［？］
また追って沙汰次第出向くよう申し渡し置くよう羽右衛門方へ連絡した。
御薪方が日々出向いて勘定をしている旨を承知した。
一 この度御祈祷の大盤差御札を下された。同役方へ申し通じ、
御札頂戴を差し遣わした。また下役両人へも下された。右の御札を［？］方頭にて
大目付中まで申し達した。別段支配の者の頂戴の御礼を申し達した。
御札二枚を裏職へ渡した。もっとも両人共にその礼のため月番宅へ出向くよう
連絡した。
五日
一 左の通り伺い申し達したところ、伺いの通り済んだ。

一 御竹藪一か所ずつ小横川並びに川手村の御藪手入れ垣頂は日に
手入れを申し付けたい。これについて山方並びに下役一人を差し遣わす旨を申し達した。
一 仰せ付けにより山方衆申し合わせて一人が出向くよう連絡した。下役安右衛門が
出向いて申し談じ取り計らうよう、これまた申し渡した。
一 支配両人の払米を左の通り申し聞かせた。

八日
一 明九日聞き仕るところ、差し掛かりの御用もなく相通じ申すべき旨を山方衆が

- Iijima [?] came to visit. He reported that he wished to inquire about the approval or denial regarding Mount Kurokawa, for which there have been successive private petitions since before. Currently it is difficult to give a proper response [?], and instructed Waemon's group to tell him to come again when further notice is given. Acknowledged that the firewood department comes daily to do accounting.
- This time, large ceremonial prayer tablets were bestowed. Notified fellow officials and sent word of receiving the tablets. They were also given to both subordinate officers. These tablets were reported up to the chief inspectors through the [?] group head. Separately reported thanks for the tablets received by those under jurisdiction. Gave two tablets to the rear office. Both men were told to visit the monthly duty officer's residence to give thanks.
5th day
- When the following inquiry was submitted, it was completed as requested.

- Regarding bamboo groves, one location each in Ko-yokogawa and Kawate village, wish to order maintenance work on the grove fencing on the appointed day. Reported that mountain affairs staff and one subordinate will be dispatched for this.
- By order, arranged for one person from the mountain affairs group to go. Also instructed that subordinate Yasuemon should go to discuss and handle the arrangements.
- The rice payments for both supervisors were reported as follows:
2 koku 7 to of rice Mimizo Ryozo
2 koku 5 to of rice Baba Yasuemon

The above [?] rice was separately recorded and submitted to the general accounting office.
8th day
- Tomorrow the 9th, when inquiring about duties, the mountain affairs group [reported] that there are no pressing duties and normal procedures should apply.
