一 鉾持印形橋簀ノ子三拾五本伐出之義羽右衛門杉左衛門方

小沢林の御払いの件について、今度は改めて吟味の上で決定するよう沙汰に及んだ
十三日
一 志賀羽右衛門に溝口村の樋木を見分するため罷り越すよう申し渡した。出入りの
届けがあり、大方出来上がったので樋の場については人足場を申し付けるよう承知した
一 非持山の御囲山を見廻るため惣治を差し遣わした。変わった事はない様子で
届けを申し聞かせた
十四日
一 右同所の黒部御払いにつき駄数改めの締めの件を非持山村の名主へ
申し付けた段を杉左衛門が申し聞かせた。一応郡代中へ呼び出した
一 豆代木をこれで伐り出し御普請方へ相渡す処、木油があるため
また五本ほど少々太めの処を受け取りたいとの申し談じがあった
一 鉾持印形橋の簀の子三十五本の伐り出しの件を羽右衛門・杉左衛門方へ

沙汰に及び、西の入御林より差し出すべき旨を申し聞かせた
十六日
一 右の御用木に極印を入れ置いたので、なるべく惣治に伐らせるよう申し付けるよう
両人が申し聞かせた
一 御子柴勇治に溝口村の樋木伐り跡へ極印を入れ改めるよう、並びに御
仕入方御用の掛け合いで宮下増七右衛門方まで罷り越すよう申し渡し、則ち届けを承知した
十八日
一 御広間にて通達は左の通り
一 大目付中へ相達する件は四時より九時までの内に相達するよう申し聞かせた
二朱の家中は通い出に関わらず、彼の御役筋に御用がなくとも九時に
打ったならば引き下がるよう申された由、勿論御城給中の件である
右の趣を急度通達するようにとのこと

13th day
1. Shiga Uemon was instructed to go to Mizoguchi village to inspect the conduit wood. There was a report of entry/exit, and since it was mostly completed, it was acknowledged that laborers should be assigned to the conduit site.
1. Sōji was dispatched to patrol the enclosed mountain at Himochi-yama. He reported that there were no particular changes.
14th day
1. Sugizaemon reported that he instructed the village headman of Himochi-yama village regarding the final count of pack-horse loads for the timber sale at Kurobe in the same location. The district magistrates were summoned for the time being.
1. The bean-supporting wood was cut and delivered to the construction office, but since there was wood oil, there was a request to receive about five more pieces of somewhat thicker wood.
1. Instructions were given to Uemon and Sugizaemon's offices regarding the cutting of 35 pieces of bamboo grating for Hokomi seal-pattern bridge.

They were informed that these should be provided from Nishi-no-iri official forest.
16th day
1. Since official markings were placed on the said official timber, both men reported that Sōji should be instructed to cut it as much as possible.
1. Mikoshiba Yūji was instructed to place official markings and inspect the cutting sites of conduit wood in Mizoguchi village, and also to go to Miyashita Masushichirō's place for official business coordination regarding procurement. The report was immediately acknowledged.
18th day
1. The announcement in the great hall was as follows:
1. It was announced that communications to the chief inspectors should be made between 4 o'clock and 9 o'clock.
Retainers of 2-shu rank, regardless of their commuting, should withdraw when 9 o'clock strikes even if there is no official business for their duties, as this naturally applies to those receiving castle stipends.
It was ordered that this matter be strictly communicated.
