川下げの間のどこかで流木がございましても、
御上様にて御損毛をお認めくださいますよう願い上げます。
一 御上様が仰せ出されました御留木の儀は一切伐り取り
申しません。右の条々を堅く守ります。以上

At Bōgiri delivery point, we will stack them with a width of 6 shaku and height of 4 shaku 6 sun,
and we undertake to deliver and submit them in this manner. If there should be any drifting wood
anywhere from the initial delivery to during the river transport,
we request that the government authorities acknowledge the loss.
1. Regarding the reserved trees that the government authorities have designated, we shall never cut them down.
We shall strictly observe these above conditions. The above stated,

We have undertaken the contract as petitioned by the aforementioned Tōshichi and Daijirō,
and there are no problems whatsoever. Therefore, we will not cause any losses
or inconvenience to anyone. The village officials undertake this and will certainly
carry it out. For future reference, we submit this receipt with joint seals.
