二ケ年季ニ而当十一月迄高田宿代田宇源次殿へ
書入致右加判仕候処昨年利足金等も差滞
先方へ対し申訳茂無之罷在候間庄蔵ゟ
差出候金子宇源次殿へ御渡ニ致候様度々
立斎江申入候所一向聞不申右ニ付宇源次殿へ
加判致候段相立兼申候何卒右之金子宇源次殿へ

存候ニ而近藤氏御取次差上候所致奥書差出候様

恐れながら
春日栄十殿から太田立斎が譲り受けた田地を北原庄蔵が
買い戻すことになった。その田地以外に畑田一枚を去る辰年から
二ヶ年季で当十一月まで高田宿代田宇源次殿へ
書き入れし、右の加判をいたしたところ、昨年利足金等も滞り
先方へ対して申し訳もない状態にある。庄蔵から
差し出した金子を宇源次殿へお渡しするよう度々
立斎へ申し入れたが一向に聞き入れない。そのため宇源次殿へ
加判した件について責任を負いかねる。何とぞその金子を宇源次殿へ
返済するよう御理解のほど偏にお願い申し上げる。

右願書の件は田地詰め戻しで北原庄蔵から願い立て、小原村栄十から
買い戻すことになった。立斎に関わりがあり立入人がいて示談になった
ことについて同役と相談し立入人富嶋孫八を呼んで承った上で先の奥書（同役請け事）
と存じて近藤氏のお取次ぎで差し上げたところ奥書をするよう
仰せ下されたので調印して差し出した。十一月四日

Regarding the rice field that Ota Rissai received from Kasuga Eiju-dono, which Kitahara Shozo is to buy back. In addition to that rice field, there is one plot of cultivated land that has been mortgaged to Usourceji-dono of Takada-shuku Daita since the year of the Dragon for a two-year term until this November, and I have co-signed for this. However, last year's interest payments have been delayed, leaving me with no excuse to offer to the other party. I have repeatedly requested Rissai to deliver the money provided by Shozo to Usourceji-dono, but he has completely ignored this request. Therefore, I can no longer take responsibility for having co-signed with Usourceji-dono. I humbly request your understanding so that this money may be repaid to Usourceji-dono.

Regarding this petition: concerning the field retrieval matter, a petition was submitted by Kitahara Shozo to buy back from Eiju of Ohara village. Since Rissai was involved and there was a mediator leading to a settlement, after consulting with a colleague and hearing from mediator Tomishima Magohachi, believing it to be the previous endorsement (colleague's guarantee), it was submitted through Kondo-shi's intermediation. When told to provide an endorsement, the sealed document was submitted. November 4th.
