私義不調法者御座候処不存寄町代御役儀

恐れながら口上書をもってお願い申し上げます件
私は不調法者でございますが、思いがけず町代の御役目を仰せつかり、ありがたく相勤めておりましたが、身上が不如意となり、御役目を勤めることが困難と存じます。これにより御役目の御赦免をしていただけますようお願い申し上げます
右の趣旨について、ご慈悲をもってお願い申し上げました通りにお取り計らいいただけましたなら、ありがたい仕合わせと存じます。以上
