同人跡式相続仕罷在候処此度千村平右衛門様
御支配所手良郷八ツ手村民右衛門悴丑次郎と【与】申者
養家血縁之者ニ御座候ニ付貰請私跡式相続
為仕度奉存候猶又私実家鉾持村鱗屋好右衛門方
断絶仕候ニ付悴伝四郎差遣名跡相続為仕度

私は先年下モ町山屋伝四郎方へ養子に参り、
同人の跡継ぎを相続しておりましたところ、この度千村平右衛門様の
御支配所である手良郷八ツ手村の民右衛門の息子丑次郎という者が
養家の血縁の者でございますので、迎え入れて私の跡継ぎを相続
させたく存じます。なお、私の実家である鉾持村鱗屋好右衛門方が
断絶いたしましたので、息子伝四郎を差し向けて名跡相続をさせたく

右の件につき、御慈悲をもって願い上げます通りお取り計らいいただけましたら、

I previously went as an adopted son to Yamaya Denshirō's family in Shimomachi and
inherited his succession. Now, a person named Ushijirō, son of Minemon from
Yatsude village in Tera district under the jurisdiction of Chimimura Heiemon-sama,
is a blood relative of my adoptive family, so I wish to adopt him and have him succeed
to my line. Furthermore, since my birth family, Urokoya Kōemon's house in Hokomotimura,
has become extinct, I wish to send my son Denshirō to continue that family name
