右の者を呼び出し、月番の宅において申し渡しました。
覚書
職人並びに杣（そま）・左官・台置据師について、内弟子一人を置くまでは許可の上で雇い置いているところ、年季明け等について心得違いの者もいるため、今後は内弟子として雇う場合は年季を記した札を渡すこととします。そのように心得て、年季が済んだ翌年の三月限りで暇を出す願いを差し出すこと。
右の趣旨を触れ回った上で、札のない内弟子を抱え置いている者は吟味の上、厳重に咎めることとします。以上

Memorandum
Regarding craftsmen including woodcutters, plasterers, and installation specialists: while we have permitted the employment of one apprentice each after receiving approval, there have been some who misunderstand the regulations regarding the completion of their terms of service. Therefore, from now on, when employing an apprentice, a tag indicating their term of service shall be issued. With this understanding, a request for dismissal should be submitted by the end of March in the year following the completion of their term.
After circulating the above instructions, those who keep apprentices without proper tags will be investigated and strictly punished. That is all.
