候間心得違之もの於有之者
取搦吟味之上厳重咎筋
可申付候事
一食物之儀茂近年次第二
大奢二長し候間成丈質素二
いたし贅無限宜敷者たり共
二十日麁食を用居込事
又者無拠砌二而親類懇迄之
もの打セ出候之候節も先者
酒食差出し不申若無拠
差出候迚屹と手軽候品
相用一汁一菜之外決而差出
申間敷事
但一汁一菜も成たけ手軽二
以たし右之内も一椀相省キ
候分者不苦獣鳥等
取求不申小百姓於以手軽
専一たるへく候事
一近年家作手広二いたし
花売を宗とし内迄作も
対候外被張花売二いたし
候もの数多有之分限を
忘れ驕大者増長二及ひ候段
現代語訳
ので、心得違いの者がいる場合は
取り調べ吟味の上、厳重に咎める筋から
申し付けるべきことである
一、食物の件についても近年次第に
大いに奢侈に流れているので、できるだけ質素に
し、贅沢は無制限によろしい者であっても
二十日は粗食を用いて暮らすこと
また、やむを得ない時節で親類・懇意の
者を招き出すような場合も、まずは
酒食を差し出さず、もしやむを得ず
差し出すとしても必ず手軽な品を
用い、一汁一菜の外は決して差し出し
てはならないこと
但し一汁一菜もできるだけ手軽に
し、右のうちも一椀省く
分には構わない。獣鳥等を
取り求めず、小百姓においては手軽を
専一とすべきことである
一、近年家作を手広くし
見栄えを主とし、内装まで作り込み
対面を張って見栄えよくする
者が数多くあり、分限を
忘れ驕り高ぶる者が増長に及んでいる段
