The above has been recorded in the carry-over ledger (tsuminokoshi-chō) as customary, submitted for the inspection of the honored District Magistrate (Gundai), and the levies have been paid to the Collection Office and to the Senior Inspector (Ōmetsuke) Nogi [Masanito?]. The receipt has been submitted for the inspection of the honored District Magistrate and his associates. Note that the collection was carried out on the 2nd and 3rd days of the 12th month, and payment (納付) was made on the 4th day of the 11th month [likely a clerical inconsistency in dates].
