As noted above, the in-town general representatives were investigated at the castle. The written document was brought by Lord Kawachi, and Mr. Takahashi was appointed as official scribe. Regarding the request to appoint the block representative's administrator (chōdai gyōji) as a document deputy (monodai), upon inquiry it was determined that there is no precedent for this, and accordingly all parties have been notified to be aware of this matter. The relevant colleagues and the administrator of Shinmachi-Fukurogawa are to be summoned.
One item: Regarding the errand-runner Kishichi's appearance — he failed to attend, citing illness from the various districts, and a written report to that effect was submitted.
